Acıselsan Acıpayam Selüloz Sanayi ve Ticaret A.Ş.
Acıselsan, founded in 1973 by local people in Acıpayam, Denizli produces CMC (carboxymethyl cellulose) in a closed area of 8,843 m², established on an industrial area of 153,770 m².
In 1974, The Development Bank of Turkey and Vakıf Bank became Acıselsan’s partners. As of 2010, The Development Bank of Turkey has transferred 76.83% of owned shares to Privatization Administration.
Verusaturk has acquired 76.8% stake of Acıselsan from Privatization Administration in 2011 and also acquired 15.2% stake of Acıselsan from Vakıflar Bankası T.A.O. in 2012.
In 2018 Verusa Holding has purchased 47.3% stake of Acıselsan previously owned by Verusaturk Venture Capital.
The production capacity of Acıselsan has increased over the years and is 13,500 tons by 2020. The company exports 80% of its production to foreign markets.
Acıselsan is a public company and the company shares are traded in Borsa Istanbul (BIST) under "ACSEL" code.
